I must admit that I was not familiar with RSS before today. It has been interesting having my eyes opened to a whole new world that exists out there on the internet. I also admit that I probably would not have explored it on my own had I not been taking this class. Believe it or not, I found it hard to figure out what I was interested in personally. I’ve been a Christian since I was a kid and lead a bible study now, so topics on Christian growth are always of interest to me. I’m a cheerleading coach and discovered there is not much out there on it at all. It would be nice to have a resource that touches on coaching tips and the newest info regarding the sport.
I found myself a little disappointed in Phillipa Gregory’s blog (http://www.amazon.com/gp/blog/AOWYHQZLW2ZCO). I would rather have heard more about her novels than her own reading experiences. I have read many of her novels on the Tudor family. Being a history teacher, I just recently started reading historical fiction and have been utterly addicted to it. I was turned onto her novels through my dear friend who also loves history. I’ve found the Tudor royals were way more scandalous than I ever imagined. It has been crazy to see what they would do in that culture to preserve the family line. Anyway, I guess I will need to give her blog a chance…maybe she likes to switch it up some instead of always focusing on her novels.
